At ripplecreate, we work closely with schools to curate and implement Applied Learning Programmes in the areas of STEM ( Science, Technology, Engineering and Technology). Applied Learning is an approach that emphasises authentic and practice-oriented learning experiences. It provides ample opportunities for students to acquire skills and qualities based on the practical application of knowledge in real-world contexts, whilst emphasizing on developing 21st century competencies and values in the students.
Code for Fun Enrichment Programme (done jointly by IMDA and MOE) is offered to all MOE primary and secondary schools to increase students’ exposure to coding and computational thinking.
ripplecreate is appointed by Info-communications Media Development Authority (IMDA) as the official vendor for the Code For Fun programme. We are offering both block-based and syntax-based programming for the Robotics and Microcontroller track. These courses are subisdised by up to 70% by IMDA, upon fulfilment of terms and conditions.
ripplecreate is proud to be appointed by the Info-communications Media Development Authority (IMDA) to be an Infocomm Clubs Appointed Vendor (ICAV), to conduct ICT Learning Roadmap courses.
The IMDA ICT Learning Roadmap, also known as ICM Learning Roadmap, has been developed as a guide in structuring progressive ICT training in various ICT domains. It will be helpful for all teachers-in-charge running Infocomm Clubs and for interested students who aspire towards particular roles in ICT.
To help schools expose their students to the areas under the ICM Learning Roadmap, training will be provided by IMDA for Infocomm Clubs (100% subsidised by IMDA, maximum 2 courses per academic year).
If you are looking for ad-hoc customized workshops or training sessions for your students or teachers’ professional development, we conduct specialized training sessions including but not limited to drones, robotics, micro-controllers (arduino and micro:bit), cyber-security, game development, web design and coding.
