2-Day Game Developer Camp

It’s a showdown between two popular game creation coding platforms - the MIT-developed animation software Scratch and VR coding software CoSpaces. Students will get the chance to learn about the fundamentals of coding and game creation, as well as the unique functionalities of each platform that will stretch their imagination to the max! Specifically curated for 9-12 yr olds, This camp provides a good introduction to coding for total beginners and gaming enthusiasts who’d like to try their hands on creating a game they can have bragging rights to.

Game Developer Camp

Day 1: Animated Game

Students will learn the basics of block-based coding and create an animated game on Scratch 3.0, which will include elements such as a timer and scoreboard.

Day 2: VR Game

Students will be introduced to Virtual and Augmented Reality and learn to create a VR game on the platform, CoSpaces.

FAQ

Our holiday camps are suitable for beginners who have no prior knowledge or experience in technology-related courses. Even if your child has had prior knowledge or experience, he or she will still find our holiday camps refreshing due to the sheer variety of platforms we cover and the thematic approach we employ which makes every camp different and new.

Due to the current covid-19 measures, camps will be converted to online camps. Short breaks will be given in between for half day camp sessions.
