ripplecreate came together with UBTech, Innerstar and other sponsors to run the Chong Pang STEM Camp for children of the constituency. The participants had a fun and enriching day learning about robotics and coding, and some even walked away with trophies! A big thank you to the hard work of the youth volunteers and to Minister of Law and Home Affairs, K Shanmugam for gracing the event.
We were delighted to be invited by Central Singapore CDC to participate in the Skills For Good festival for the second year running.
Our team held a mini JiMU robotics soccer competition at our exhibition booth to help participants experience robotics and ran an Artificial Intelligence Taster workshop for adults. Both garnered immense interest from the young and old!
As part of our corporate social responsibility initiative, we are proud to partner Innerstar, a not-for-profit organization seeking to deliver high-impact programs for underprivileged youths to realise their potential.
In January this year, our staff came together with Innerstar volunteers to deliver a coding and robotics workshop at Chen Su Lan Methodist Children’s Home, culminating in an adrenalin pumping soccer robotics competition!
The children learnt how to code to maneuver their mBots , as well as customize the lights and sounds on their robot. They showed plenty of enthusiasm in learning and surprised us with their tenacity in competing at the football challenge.
We hope that through this workshop, the children had gained awareness and built their interest in coding.
ripplecreate was honoured to be invited to be part of the Skills for Good Festival organized by Central Singapore CDC. Our team spent a fruitful day at the event, sharing with Minister Josephine Teo, Mayor Denise Phua as well as the general public the potential of future skills education.
